What’s inside Garage doors Pricing FAQ Book a call

For garage door companies · 1–4 people

Software built inside a garage door company. Not for one — inside one.

Every field service app says it works for garage doors. Ask them what headroom is. Lagom Ops runs Generational Garage Doors — a real Bay Area company — every day. Every estimate, invoice, payment, and schedule change goes through it, on real jobs. When something didn’t work, the owner said so at dinner, and it got fixed. That’s the product.

What built-for-doors actually means

Generalist software gives you a blank job form and wishes you luck. A portal built inside a door company already knows the work:

  • The job types a door company actually has. New door install, panel replacement, spring, opener, cable and roller, track, tune-up — not “Service Call (Other).”
  • Door styles with pictures. Your customer picks from real panel designs and wood tones, not a text field that says “door.”
  • Sizes the way you think. Single 8×7, double 16×7, custom — with headroom and side room captured up front. Because you know what happens when nobody asked about headroom.
  • Install-rule checks while the quote is written. Low headroom flags low-headroom track. Insufficient clearance stops the quote before your customer sees a number that has to be walked back.
  • Estimates a homeowner accepts from their phone — and you see the moment they do.

You see the moment they open it.

You sent the estimate Tuesday. Now what — did they look? Are they comparing? Do you call and seem pushy, or wait and lose it?

Lagom estimates are pages, not attachments. The moment your customer opens one, it’s stamped in the portal. The moment they accept — from their couch, on their phone, no printing, no callback — you know.

At Generational Garage Doors, that’s the difference between chasing and knowing. Follow up when they’re actually deciding, not when you got around to wondering.

the quote tells you what it’s doing out there

Then everything else the office touches

01

Estimate → invoice → payment. One record.

The accepted estimate becomes the invoice with one click. The payment matches itself to the invoice. No copy-paste, no reconciling three apps at midnight.

02

A calendar sized for a 1–4 person crew

Week and month views by team member, conflict checks, color-coded assignments. Draft privately, publish when it’s ready.

03

Every customer searchable

Every note, call, photo, estimate, and follow-up on one profile. The customer from two springs ago comes up in two keystrokes.

04

Reports in ten seconds

Revenue, outstanding, paid. Readable at a stoplight, not exported to a spreadsheet on Sunday night.

What it costs

From $67/month. No per-user pricing — your installer, your office, your spouse who does the books, all under one flat tier. Setup is scoped on the call, because encoding a two-truck company takes less than encoding a four-truck one.

Founding beta: 50% off setup and monthly, locked for 12 months, while spots last. See the full tiers →

Who it’s NOT for

If you’re running 15 trucks and need a dispatch board, buy ServiceTitan — sincerely. Lagom is for the company where the person reading this also installs the doors. That’s who it was built with, and that’s who it fits.

Frequently asked questions

Does this replace my website?
No — it works alongside it. Your website is your public face; the portal is your private operations system. Customers see branded estimate and invoice pages, not the back end.
What happens to my data if I leave?
It’s yours. Full export anytime, no hostage games. We keep your data for 30 days after cancellation in case you change your mind, then it’s deleted.
How long does setup take?
Typically about two weeks from discovery call to launch. Complex pricing rules or integrations can stretch it a bit, but most companies are live and quoting within fourteen days.
Do I need to be technical?
No. You get a login and a portal that works like the tools you already use. If you can send a text, you can run your portal.

Twenty minutes. You talk about how your door company runs; we tell you honestly whether a portal fits it.

Book the call no demo signup, no drip campaign — a conversation.
